I'm always on about this - this is in my inbox today and is a nice clear general article. They don't mention that it happens more alongside PMR but I'll excuse them that ...

We get a mention under muscle soreness and stiffness if you scroll down. What a clear and helpful article. I have a muscle knot in my calf that was freaking me out (DVT) until I saw this. Thanks as ever!

Oh thank you PMRpro for this link. After reading it this explains a lot to me.

Some months ago I started having tingling problems in my head and, also pain in my temple area, and some jaw pain after eating.

It really worried me as one day my right side of my face seemed to freeze for a few seconds.

I did wonder in my Myofacial was something to do with it so, I got all my old exercise sheets out from the hospital and started to do them.

It has helped a lot, but I still am waiting to see a doctor from the hospital as I was told there is a long waiting list even for patients who would have been seen regularly every six months.

So I just continue with my exercise.

At least this article explains a lot valuable information.
