Where can I find my previous posts?

Hi Everyone, I am searching for my recent posts and cannot find them. I need to refer to your recommendations before my husbands appointment tomorrow with his internist. Please tell me where I can find my previous posts. Thanks!

How strange! I tapped on your name and only found your most recent post. Are you sure you were on this forum? You could speak to admin about it if you are convinced that you have other posts on this site. See under “contact us” on the right of your screen and message Penny or Fran.

Hi SheffieldJane, Thanks for your reply. Yes, I’m sure. I only post to the PMR forum. I’ve had at least 4 or more posts. I will inquire with the administrators. Thanks!

There seems to be your detailed post available now. How odd! Tap on your name if you don’t see it. Maybe it’s a computer glitch, it’s there now.

I see the two I just posted, but my previous posts are gone! I had at least 6 counting these two. I sent a message to the administrator to see what happened to my former posts. Oh well, at least I know where to find them going forward. Thank you!!

Did you at any point edit your profile maybe by changing your name or other details? I know that this shouldn't delete any posts, but it does seem strange that they would vanish without cause. It may, unfortunately in some respects, be possible to inadvertently create a new profile. The old one may still be in the system. (Only thought of this because I recently discovered I have two Twitter accounts, no idea how!)

Hi HeronNS, Thanks for your reply! I think you may be right! Although I don’t remember creating two profiles, but it is possible. Perhaps when I forgot my password. I’m so busy with so many things. Thanks for mentioning this! You may have solved my dilemma. If this is the case, can I merge the two and get rid of one to avoid confusion?

Looks as if you’ve tried to delete this one, but it doesn’t work like that…it stays on the forum but shows as Hidden….unless you resurrect it and give it a new name. The problem is, the account is linked to your email address by HU (although we don’t see that on open forum), so as long as you have that email it’s stays here.

You do need to contact help centre as suggested.

Yes, it has come up as hidden, I often wonder why that happens....

It is usually because someone decides to leave the forum - only they know why but sometimes it is maybe embarrassment at having over-shared with their problem. And sometimes someone just plain takes offence at something that was said.

Yes, there is sometimes an answer some don't want to hear...but no good faffing around the facts of PMR.

My sister just rang, she said a Rheumy called her because he had a cancellation, she is in pain with RA, he has ordered an xray, he said we will see patients face to face at the end of the year!...it was not Max!.....

Rod Hughes got very annoyed last year because the hospital was stopping them seeing patients f2f - got as far as the DM!!!

It's a piece of nonsense, really is.

That's putting it politely....how on earth can a Rheumi e examine muscle joints ect without seeing a patient...my sister was speechless, but then she's not me....I would have questioned it, and asked if he was happy with that. As I have said all the patients, 4 of us, were seeing Max when I last went there...no other Rheumie s about...it was at the end of their day, and he fitted some in later than usual....

As explained by PMRpro. Some of us have been trying, unsuccessfully to get HU to change 'Hidden' to 'Account closed' - but they seem very against it...doesn't look good apparently !

I clicked on your "name" which was "Hidden". A window popped up that said the account was closed and that's why Hidden came up. Maybe this is the reason?
