You must report your positive result, Flosys. You should have received a letter telling you about this.

Others will be along with better knowledge but I thought stay on the same dose - def no taper until you are better. May depend on how you are if you need sick day rules, but will need to speak to GP. Did you have a pcr test sent to you? If so, do and send it in and NHS will contact you. Depends if you were classed as vulnerable.

Any of us will be very lucky to escape it now, however careful. I would feel fed up too, but hope you soon feel better and it is not too bad. Probably more info on FAQ's.

Follow ‘Sick day rules’ in Topics (on the right of MY screen…hope it is in the same place on yours). I also have Covid this week and have followed ‘Sick Day Rules’ which for me means hiking from 2.5mg to 10mg for a few days,

I tested positive on Tuesday 29/3, via LFT. I did the PCR test the next day and posted it, but even before getting the PCR result, The NHS had both text and emailed me to say as I had had a positive LFT, they would be in touch about antivirals. So they seem to no longer need the PCR confirmation. I’d definitely recommend you report a positive LFT test asap. In my case didn’t need the anti virals as I have been asymptomatic, which has been fantastic for me. Good luck!

Where do you report the positive LFT? On the Nhs website? I thought you could only report PCR tests. By the way I have just found the Pcr test that they sent me a few months ago to hold on to in case I got it!
