Think you need to check with whoever cancelled it - could be a variety of reasons…

Just after I sent my post to PMRUK I got a reminder for the appointment on Saturday that was cancelled yesterday! Going to turn up and see if I can get it.

I had my 4th jab in January. I had a message from my surgery a couple of weeks ago to remind me to book my 4th jab then a day later another message arrived telling me to ignore the previous one. Yesterday I had a letter from the NHS advising me to book my 4th Covid vaccination. My vaccination record shown on my NHS app is up to date with four jabs given.

'Ours is not to reason why...'

🤷‍♀️

After I sent my post to PMRUK - I got a reminder text for my appointment on Saturday! The one that was cancelled yesterday. I have written to my GP asking if I need it and a letter from him as twice the surgery just told me to take the NHS letters. 119 told me I definitely need a GP letter and now the latest email says I MAY NOT get the vaccination if I don't have a letter. Going to turn up and see what they say.

Turned up to walk in and waved NHS letter. Surgery here doesn't write letters. No problems, got fourth jab. Now received another two letters from NHS - should I try for fifth?? Chaos?

I was surprised when I read that people were being offered 4th jabs, as I only know what I heard on the news that we would be getting them in the spring. I was missed out for the second jab, having it later with a younger age group, which also pushed my 3rd one further along to last October. I’m somewhat apprehensive now as I have a weakened immune system. There has been no notification from my surgery on vaccinations, and If it’s a six month gap from the previous one it would take me to the end of April/early May.

I hope that you manage to get yours, as there seem to be mixed messages!

I think you should contact your GP. Letters came from NHS. I had the booster in November and letters said 4th jab should be 3 months after 3rd vaccination.
