Hi I have just been diagnosed with Barrett’s disease which my siblings also have and gastritis, I had bloods done lately as I’d go to go have an eye check up at the opticians and she told me to make an appointment with the doctor to get bloods done as she could see there was a problem with my BP and cholesterol which my cholesterol was up. I’m borderline diabetic and all our family suffer low blood pressure but mine was 107/65 and the nurse said that was ok but my sugars were 7, I always have cravings for cakes, pasties etc but nobody has checked my adrenaline, nurse didn’t want to put me in more meds as I’m already in enough for other medical problems but I have to keep a check on my saturates.
