Hi

Does anyone know how long depomedrone inj lasts?I was given one 2 weeks ago and had my pred increased to 2.5 enteric coated from 2 mg uncoated as had bad gastritis and PMR symptoms after seeing Dr Hughes and feel so much better !

Depends on the dose to some extent and the person - varies a bit. When it is used for PMR it seems to last about a month before the oomph runs out. If he used it to deal with something else, it may last longer.

That much may last a bit longer - it also depends on how much pred you need in your system to keep the inflammation under control. It forms a natural taper, highest the day after it is injected and falling off slowly until it is low enough for symptoms to reappear.
