Hi all - recently I have been investigating alternative methods of pain relief and have been directed towards Sound Frequency Healing.
Let me say first off, I am very much a down-to-earth, practical person (and naturally skeptical) but I am also a musician and I know first hand how certain frequencies definitely affect living organisms. I was keen to investigate a drug-free approach to pain management.
Many of us are only too aware of the negative side effects of steroids, opioids etc and for me, any approach that does not depend on such is worth investigating.
Although this whole area can seem rather far-fetched, here's a link to some of the real scientific evidence behind the theory - ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...
Despite the title of this post, this theory is far from new, the Ancient Greeks and Pythagoras himself used similar ideas identifying the target areas of different sound frequencies.
Specifically, I was interested in targetting pain and the frequency that has been identified for this area - is 174 hz.
To generate a 174 hz tone, I navigated to szynalski.com/tone-generator/ and simply dialled in the correct frequency.
I carefully adjusted the volume to a suitable (relatively low) level and bathed in the frequency for approx 30 minutes (while continuing to work on my computer).
During and after this time I distinctly felt a positive response!
A quick search on Youtube revealed a number of other resources including Pure Frequency Specific Sound Baths covering all known beneficial frequencies targetting other areas including Alzheimers, Tinnitus etc.
I intend to continue my journey of investigation and would be most interested if anyone else has found Sound Frequency Healing a useful and beneficial technique for alleviating pain.
