Weak and shaky

I take my 10 mg dose of pred at 3 am and get up between 8 and 9. M.y, head feels like itwill explode but no pain and my hands are shaking,knees are stiff and legs feel like Jello my face feels flushed but no fever.I walk with a walker to keep from falling.By evening I may feel better but not always.I'm tapering 0.5 mg per month and have been this way for several months .Any advice will be very much appreciated.

Hi there,Have you considered that you still might be having symptoms from Covid? Sometimes we’re having symptoms from something different than PMR/GCA.

Hullo Ancient Prune, I wonder if your Blood Pressure is OK? Corticosteroids raise it and they are something of a stimulant providing extra cortisol as well. Might be worth checking you BP. Hope all improves.
