Blood tests

Dear forum members

Over the last fortnight I have been experiencing some awful symptoms which pointed towards lupus but I’m not a medico so I’ve possibly been in the midst of a massive PMR flare.

Today I am feeling a lot better and I have blood tests booked for Thursday having had a telephone consultation 5 days ago with my GP who is swayed towards PMR

My query is this - will the tests pick up any indicators 7 days post flare or do they reflect what’s present on the day?

Difficult to say - the ESR and CRP don't really just shut off like a tap when the flare calms down. But how quickly they go once the symptoms are gone I'm really not sure.
