I would ask your GP if possible.
In similar circumstances I was advised to take an extra 5mg on the day of surgery itself and that did the trick. I did only have a local anaesthetic for a one and a half hour procedure though - are you having a general anaesthetic??

Okay 😊 Well, check with GP if you can but 5mg was fine for me - and my dentist was pleased I had it covered!
