No worries re my kidney issues! I can go into details if anyone has an interest, but so happy I’m ok! I have been on 5 mg for two days and so far I’m doing ok. Will continue to post my progress.

At my first diabetic review after type 2 diagnosis I was told there was protein in my urine, and was referred to a kidney specialist. After all sorts of blood tests he discharged me and asked me to get 6 monthly blood tests for kidney function. At my last blood test my function had dropped and I was asked to have another blood test. This was fine and as my nurse said it can fluctuate through the day I am convinced it was this. I usually have my blood tests around 9 a.m. but the test that showed it had dropped was late afternoon. My next rest is booked for 9.30 a.m. it can be worrying but have read it drops with age anyway. I am not leaking protein in my urine now and am convinced it was because I are a lot of protein
