My Vit D results. Are these OK?

Hi All. Had a (private) Vit D test as PMRPRO recommendation and the result is: Hydroxyvitamin D2 - 2.8 nmol/l; Hydroxyvitamin D3 - 56 nmol/l. Total Vitamin D - 56.8 nmol/l. Currently on 22.5 mg Pred (tapering from 30 mg) and GP has me on 800 iu Colecalciferol Vit D3 supplement which I have been taking only for the last ten days. Given that my Dexascan was OK, is this result acceptable or should I be looking to improve my Vit D? Having read up about it I think it is OK but would appreciate any comments and advice. Regards. classes that as at the low end of the adequate range which is 50-120 nml/L. So yes, OK. If it were mine I'd aim a bit higher - but you are now on a supplement even if it is the bare minimum so it may go up a bit further.

I would be happy with that. The supplement you have started taking will probably boost it up.
