How do I reduce my cpk levels and keep them low?

I have tried high dose of steroids (started on 60mg now on 15mg) and mycophenolate (3000mg) but the cpk levels aren’t consistently staying reduced. My consultant seems to have run out of options.

What is your diagnosis? CPK isn't raised in PMR.

Hi am Diagnosis with inflammatory myopathy since 2019.

Did you mean to post here - this is the PMRCAuk forum and I honestly don't think we have anyone on here with a raised CPK - if they had their diagnosis would be changed. So we don't have any experience to offer.

I believe this test is used post possible MI to check for cardiac muscle damage .

In this person's case it is raised because of the inflammatory myositis - CPK rises when any muscle is broken down
