I got a bad flare-up 4 days after my second Pfizer jab, but none after the first. I never knew whether it was just a chance event. PMR- makes Boris look predictable!

Best wishes for Tuesday! I too had a wonderful sleep afterwards, but that was the 2nd jab. 1st one, quite poorly with chills and headache for 36hrs.

It's curious how the reaction varies so much with the same person, same vaccine, no known change in condition (health, medication, etc).

Did you have arm pain afterwards? I've heard that the more relaxed your arm is, the less the after effect. My experience bears this out. First jab was in February and, dressed in overcoat, scarf, winter jumper, etc, I was suddenly shown into a room where a lady was already drawing liquid out of a vial, with other ppl handling the paperwork. So the pressure of hurrying to be ready added to the tension that had built up anyway. Arm pain. Second jab: I adjusted my clothing in advance, and everything was differently organised, with one person double-checking my ID, asking about my reactions to the first dose, and then administering the second. Zero pain afterwards.

Hope your jab goes well, I had no reaction to either of my Pfizer jabs other than a slightly sore arm.

Hello, I hope it goes well, I did have a reaction, I upped my dose for 5 days and then reduced again. It worked and I feel good and looking forward going to a shop or two!

Take a couple of paracetamol before the jab...it might help.

Wow that was some sleep. I had just a small reaction for 2 days after the 1st but nothing at all after the 2nd which was 8 weeks ago. Really feel much safer now but am still careful. Good luck with yours.
