Systemic Lupus

As many of you know l have had an up and down journey with lots of shingles and classic pmr but my GP always maintained l was too young.

More unusual symptoms involving rashes and my kidneys started appearing and an unusual autoantibody called anticardiolipin antibody has been isolated several times in my blood.

I have Lupus.

Yes a different and more complicated journey but will be monitored closely.

I wish everyone well with their own journeys and may pop onto say hello.

Also if you are under 55 my advice is. Get other tests done just to eliminate lupus.

I also had pregnancy difficulties and a preterm baby who died 2 days later.

Every thing now under one roof!

Stay safe and goodbye lovely people xx

My hairdresser in her late 30he's has had lupus for the last 10 years... She is on several meds, but leads an active life with 2 children......when the meds are right things are easier for her....same for all of us.. Don't despair.....and yes, she is monitored regularly......so keep positive....I wish you well.....🙏
