Dizzy!

Does anyone else experience a dizzy/floating sensation almost constantly. I have been treated for PMR for 20 years and recently GCA, On 15mg at the moment, both under control except for the slight pressure in the head and feeling the unsteady sensation. Maybe stress related?

In your position I would want to consult my doctor. There are so many possible causes. Blood pressure problems? Anaemia?

Thank you Mary, blood pressure is under control, but I will check with my GP re my blood test for anaemia. I need to get my ears checked too maybe 🤔

Are you on medication for raised blood pressure at all ?“When I experienced these symptoms the culprit was Doxazosin . It could be a number of things, certainly see your doctor.

Did it worsen when the GCA appeared? GCA can also affect the 8th cranial nerve and lead to vertigo.
