Anyone else had one of these rare cancers?

I honestly don't think I have heard anyone on the forums in 12 years mention one!!!

OTOH - I wonder if it has anything to do with any of your PMR symptoms? Though if you had GCA too, maybe not.

Seems that people who have problems with their immune system are more like to develop one. Never heard of the thymus gland before .... have been referred to the Royal Marsden

The Royal Marsden is probably the number one hospital in world for you to go to. A thymoma is very slow growing.

My friend had a thymoma, successfully removed. It was found while investigating her myasthenia gravis. Apparently it’s something we can live without.

I had my Thymoma removed at St George’s six years ago. Hope you are well.
