Warm face

Hi all, does anyone have a warm tingle feeling in face especially cheeks

Yes l had it a lot pre-diagnosis & a burning feeling in my muscles, l still get a flushed, tingly face too - never any real explanation.....

I have a flushed face. Tingling in the morning when I wake. Going to ask my dr next time I have my blood test.

Yes, in my case it is due to eating certain things and even being allergic to various meds including some brands of Pred I have to wash the coating off. Keep a diary and see if you can spot any links or patterns

Hi.

I too get a hot flushed face, I thought it might be when I have a glass of wine but I’ve not had anything to drink for 2 weeks and it’s still happening, don’t know why. I think it must be to do with GCA/PMR as I was getting this a few months before they diagnosed me. It’s very annoying, I look ridiculous.

I thought it was ‘The Wine’ but even now when l’m not drinking at all (Methotrexate) l can still get it, although at the moment it’s not troubling me too much.....

Yes , I too, get a flushed face. I’m far too old for the hot flushes syndrome, so I think it’s the lowering of my pred...🙏

Often but no real explanation for it. I did have acne rosacea many years ago so

whether that’s my reason I’ll never know.
