I had been mistakingly off pred for three months, the moon face, and the hump on back of neck disappeared. Definitely it's temporary.

I also stopped three months ago and the swelling in my face decreased a lot, but it did not return to normal again . it still not my face , and It's like that for about a month . I'm worried that it might never return to normal again .

I am at 5 mgs and all that is left is evidence of self indulgence.

The moon face bit seems to have gone and I can also find my chin now. To be honest I only noticed when I saw a photo and my cheek bones were almost showing again. I have been eating as lowed carb as I can manage so have lost 2 stones or so in past 2 years since pasta and other carbs lowered. I think we also need to remember we are X number of years older at a time when gravity is helping itself to our face and bodies.

Hi

It’s so very subtle really, the first thing l noticed was l could feel my jawline again but it just melts away really.

Started going once l was below 10mg & pretty much disappeared by 5mg

Currently l’m back at 10mg with a two week increase at 12.5mg........

So expecting the return of my chubby face 😳

My face went back to normal just by being more careful about diet - cutting carbs, especially processed and white/simple carbs, helped me lose 35lbs and the midriff fat was first to go - difference in a few weeks - followed by the face. Reducing/stopping pred will help - but you have to take some responsibility and action.

I gained 12 pounds and started losing it once I hit 10mg. As I reduced the pred I also saw my collar bones again, and got my face back. I have a few new wrinkles, but that's to be expected. I do look like myself again, lost all the weight, the hump, the pred belly.

My biggest change is the jiggling thighs. Not the butt, but my upper thighs and inner thighs. Not happy about that at all, and I have no idea what to do besides lengthen my skirts and stop wearing shorts... Was always rock solid before...

Phew! Thought it was just my thighs that appeared to start jiggling! Walking doesn’t seem to make any difference any ideas?? 😳

My face and neck are both swollen but no weight on body. My consultant has told me face will start to go down when I reach 10mg on 30mg at moment so quite a wait.

Moon face goes with lower doses of pred. Such a shame, the wrinkles return in trade off🥴
