The chemist, the baker's, and posted a letter - and I felt I had achieved something!

"Achieved something"??? What the hell has PMR and lockdown done to me?

You went out - and at present that alone is impressive. I quite like being in my little bubble! Will have to go out soon too - really don't want to ...

That's it - "don't want to"! I've got so unbelievably lazy I just don't recognise myself.🤨

Think we all feel a bit like that....me, just the lockdown! Am just going out to get a paper!

As Pro says "at least it's out".😊

Yes, and another glorious day here! Repeat of yesterday...coffee in the garden!

Don't make me jealous.😠 I've no balcony and our garden is used by others so it isn't so cosy.

I’ve just despatched MrE to Click n Collect at the DIY Store for Fence Paint!

We both went to M&S for some food on Thursday & it was a ‘Big Adventure’ 😉

😂😂😂 I think even I could be tempted to go to M&S (or Waitrose).

I found Waitrose a great disappointment! My Big Spar plus the village butcher are far better ...

Mine aren't! Mind you I haven't visited England for 8 years now. Perhaps I'm looking through rose coloured specs?

Waitrose opened in Durham - only a town carpark although if you spent over £30 they would give you the parking fee back. I went several times until I decided the likelihood of them having what I wanted from Waitrose and being able to spend £30 was so unlikely it wasn't worth the effort. The last time we were in the UK I needed several things at the end of the holiday and the only option was Waitrose - Tetley t-bags were nearly half as much again as from Asda. T-bags are t-bags - no excuse for that sort of profiteering. And they have a reputation for that. The other things I wanted were out of stock. As for the quality of the staff at that particular one - the less said the better,

Oh dear! Always had good memories of the one in Cirencester.

I can get my Tetleys over here - expensive though.

I can't - but I laid in stocks before xmas just in case and you can get PG Tips here from Asian shops - not many but there is a growing community of Muslims+ who want their usual supplies. Not that I'm PG Tips person really ...

Living on their reputation it seems!! The one I mentioned that had such poor staff who knew nothing about their stock or offers was in the deep south - so it obviously isn't a regional problem.

That’s massive. Well done! The bubble can be habit forming. The springlike weather in the U.K. has been very cheering.

Constance13 profile image

Here to! I know I should shove myself more - as you know I live right on the edge of the Spa gardens and even that doesn't encourage me at the moment. But I'd have to be out before 10.30 if I don't want to meet too many people.👵🏻

Ordinarily the clocks go forward in a few weeks time. I might break with tradition and put them back so I can prolong my bubble comfort...😁

Don't get too comfortable in that bubble though - it tries to pull you in.💐

When I went to hospital with OH in the car on Monday I felt quite dizzy.....traffic lights etc...all too much...., Good job my blood pressure was n't taken!. The poor nurse said her daughter who is 9 is nervous about going back to school because of covid...very sad...

I'm smiling...not laughing at you. Some might call that a good day almost too exciting; three stops!! Then sometimes that may be overdoing it. Spring is coming... hang in there~! 💖

That sounds like quite something, and not just going out for medical things! My big adventure will be for back treatment. I need to fill the car up with fuel for eye treatment the following week so that will be v early to avoid people.

Well done you.

That is an achievement Constance and a start. Think lots of us feel safer at home. I’m in no hurry to go out - except hospital appointments are coming through. Lovely sunny days here - hung washing out for the first time. Can’t wait for my house to be finished it’s going to be a haven. Take care you’re doing great. 🌺

Thanks Terri💐

Can you private message me and tell me a little of what you have 'achieved'😂 in the house? How is the garden looking? What are the surroundings like, etc etc.

I will - don’t worry if it’s later - got my ‘hubby routine’ to work around. x
