It could be but it could be a lot of things. I would seek some medical advice.

Sounds a bit like labyrinthitis or another balance/ear problem -but as PMRpro says you need to get medical advice.

I have had that on several occasions, and it has been put down to different things on each occasion, vestibular neuronitis, labyrinthitis and adrenal problems, similar sensations each time. Have you recently gone to a low dose of Pred where thre might be adrenal problems? If so ask your Dr if that is a possiblity as they might not immediately think of it

I agree, seek medical advice. Are you on treatment for raised blood pressure? I have had trouble finding a medication that doesn’t produce this kind of side effect.

Really? I must be made of stone! The drugs weren't the problem - it was an arrythmia problem ...

I just seem hypersensitive to them. I am taking Doxazosin 2 mgs and feel sick and dizzy as we speak. Unless there is something else going on with the LVV. This is the third drug I’ve tried to add to Atenolol. My BP is never below 150 over around 80.

Even on a Holter 24 hour monitor? Have they considered renal problems? That gets the blame for my daughter's raised BP. And was probably the cause of Celtic's high BP (used to be on the forum, runs the Surrey group) but she had a lot of trouble trying to get hers under control.

Thank you. I am just made to feel a nuisance for not just getting on with BP meds. The last 24 hour monitoring was 3-4 years ago. I don’t really feel like I have a proper GP atm. They don’t want to look outside the box for causes.

Do you get constipation too? Are you on blood thinners?I have had that problem and it was down to a pill called Lixania (Edoxapan) thatI take for high blood pressure.

It means using the right laxative because some are just softeners and others stimulate.

Sorry to hear that, it sounds very much like labrynthitis & your GP should advise you. I tend to get it when I have overdone things or not slept well for some days.
