When I was told to stop prednisolone for 48 hours I came straight to this site as you are the only ones that understand what is happening to our bodies. I took SnazzyD's advice and looked up the sites she mentioned. Both said stop taking for 24 hours. I phoned the endocrinologist secretary who said it is always 24hours. I asked her if I could quote that, she said "yes"

Cant anyone help me,was at 4mg and now to go back up 7 the question is should you be pain free before you cut again or have you always got pain
Did you have pain at your starting dose? That is your guide: you shouldn't feel worse at the end of a taper step than you did at the start. And it depends what the pain is - is it returning PMR pain or is it "just" "old age pain"?
Think it's over being over active as I swim 4 times a week and walk 4 miles nearly every day.
Try a bit less, or at least splitting it up a bit - but you have to learn to recognise PMR pain and overdoing it pain
