Sorry not sure if I have asked this before 🙈🙈🙈but does anyone take LDN along with their prednisone and if so how do you did it TIA 😘😘😘

We are currently deliberately suppressing our immune system because it is attacking us. Isn’t it contradictory to take something to build it up? It has gone rogue.

We have had a couple of people in the past who tried LDN for PMR - they didn;t come back and tell us it was a great success. I believe it is sometimes used in one of the Scandinavian countries - again, if it worked well I'm sure they would have published some evidence.

I know one person said that they had had it for a year while on pred and it did not make a blind bit of difference.

I trialled it for a while about 10 years ago? but it made maybe just a littlecdiff..maybe no more than a low placebo effect. However, after a while I think it caused anxiety? (I think from memory) so I had to stop. I tried it two or three times..titrated it myself. I was not on pred at the time either so not much help but I doubt it will help.
