Thank you to everyone who replied to my post.

The pain began between my shoulder blades, it then went slightly lower and more painful, it went right across my ribs and in my spine. the pain is deep, and although it can shoot anywhere in that region it is mainly on my left side going around. The pain is horrendous i can only sit on a dining chair, a lounge chair is to painful when i try to get up. I can't lie down i sleep propped up, I shall phone my GP Monday and let you know what he says.

This sounds exactly like I was, and still am. Had an MR I in February, then came shut down, I have OA in fact joints in base of spine. I sit on edge of chairs upright, very painful......had physio email me with exercises, can only do one, it is worth trying. Lie on floor on a soft blanket, knees bent, gently push back into floor, this loosens the tight muscles.......I struggle to get up though!.....good luck...it's horrible, along with everything else.....

These are exactly my symptoms. I have an apt on Thursday with my dr as I can’t understand what is going on. I have a horrendous pain in my front ribs and under my arms too. I will be interested to hear what your dr says.
