This week I’ve taken my first dose of risedronate, prescribed by my rheumy for a recent diagnosis of osteoporosis. The next day I began to have symptoms of cystitis. I couldn’t see any other reason for this so put it down to the risedronate. They continued so I got some medication from the pharmacist who said it could be that the ph level of ?? was altered. Is this a common reaction? It isn’t mentioned in the list of possible side effects. Has anyone else had this happen? And does it go on recurring? Any information welcome!
