I have GCA and the GP prescribed the above but when I collected it the Pharmasist said I could get a headache, feel lightheaded and palpitations. I have had several ocular migraines. Am now wondering whether I should use this ointment. Has any one used this?

Might be a silly question, but did you ask the pharmacist? Presumably you are needing it for the opposite end to the head?
Oh i've used this about two years ago. It made me very lightheaded. I didn't think using a cream could do something like that. I used it for few weeks but had to pack it in but it had done most of its job at that stage. I turned over in bed and nearly fell out, like my body wasn't connected to my head!! Very weird, just be careful!
