my daughter had an eye test yesterday at specsavets, they are not doing the pressure test, not sure if this is going yo be the norm but after having lazer treatment myself on my eyes last year with on set glaucoma I hope they start to do it soon.

Did she tell them an immediate relative has glaucoma? I'm not sure the pressure test is done for everyone.

It is standard practice UK - or it was until shutdown. Mine’s been done at every appointment for last 25-30 years.

I thought it should be - but it used to standard practice for pred patients to get annual eye tests for exactly that reason, the pressures. That stopped some years ago.

Maybe it depends on who you go to - I always go to a locally owned rather than Specsavers or Boots. Shouldn’t be different, but.,,,
