Weird symptoms

Have had PMR for 2 years- tapered to 6/5.5 alt days with lots of flares - did suffer badly with shoulder pain on both sides , now that has eased with my last upping of dose to 10 mg for 5 days back down to 7.5 then slow taper

I now have lower back pain can describe it as a deep period type pain and mild scalp tenderness- eased with paracetamol - is this part of PMR? Have had these symptoms before but because my shoulders were so sore they were my focus- no headaches

It’s such a strange illness!!!

Any advice v welcome am so fed up - have GP telephone consultation on tues am going to ask for bloods -

If your pain is relieved by paracetamol then it is unlikely to be a symptom of your pmr as ordinary and even strong tablets dont have an affect on pmr pain. You need to speak to your gp on tuesday about this new symptom. YBB
