"Cloudy with a chance of pain"

Just read this and sooooo agree. I find humidity really affects my PMR pain AND the PA pain. For years I've maintained rain, cold, humid days are difficult to live through - it gets worse as we grow older. Lots of doctors scoff! Let's hope they don't live to regret it!

Agree with Humidity................it is a killer for me........ however anything over 20 degress and I am wiped out and alway have been. I never went abroad until end of May and last week in September.

Now cold and rain - love them - not too much rain mind

This is our 8th week on Monday with not a drop to drink. My neighbour and I reckon the we have had about 2 hours and nothing solid, just spits and spots. The French owned water company will love us..................

The average temp up North was 25 degrees for 7 days, then on Wednesday it dropped to 22 - an east wind arrived and it is still blowing gently.............

Anything 'under' 20 degs and any humidity does me in - so I'm suffering at the moment - dizzy, can't walk more than 15 minutes. D has to collect me from the bedroom in the morning and walk me round the flat before I can move by myself.

You're older than me (😂😂) and seem to do better - a stronger character I expect.

"Not a drop to drink" you poor things. I drink all day long (not alcohol of course).🤪

Keep running smoothly - almost twin.

You don't know the half of it ----------I am not a stronger character at all. just a cock-eyed optimist.

Totally agree about humidity. I live in Tasmania which, whilst nowhere near as cold as UK, can get cold and windy but is hardly ever humid in the way UK can be. I remember coming back to UK to visit family around 30 years ago (I was 43). this was well before I was diagnosed with PMR but had various aches and pains. My knee swelled up and became instantly painful in the cold, damp October weather and when my brother dragged me on a walk over the Pennines I was a cripple...!Hobart, where I live , is the second driest capital city in Oz but my body always tells me when a low pressure system, bringing rain, is on its way!

I agree with you. My symptoms escalate in those conditions too.
