Using Zoom for PMRGCAug meetings

I recently received an invitation to join in a regional meeting for PMRGCAuk in London using Zoom. I replied to the email saying I was interested, mistakenly thinking that I would be sent details on how to use/join Zoom. Unfortunately I missed the meeting as I didn't know how to join.

Since that time I have found Zoom on the internet and joined: but it is really geared to me setting up my own meetings. Does anyone know what I should have done so as to follow the PMRGCAuk meeting?

The meeting would send you a code and a password. Usually by email and then you follow the link they give you.

Mary63 said it all really. Just click on the link in the email and you go straight to the meeting. You need a laptop iPad tablet or smartphone with camera and microphone. Try it out with family or a friend. Set up your own meeting it’s really easy. Don’t have to be too techy either. We are having a Zoom meeting on the 14th May for Yorkshire group if you want to join us to test it out private message me with your email address and I invite you.
