Happy Easter

This is my calendar picture for April. It’s of Peter and the Wolf. At the moment I can’t help reading in the picture something quite different from Peter’s story. For me Peter is self isolating from the Wolf. The cat is wary and protective, as are all those combatting the virus. But the little bird is the bird of hope and of peace and however fragile, however beset, the message is eternal and must prevail in the end.
