It you click on the collage it does expand to normal...well, it does for me!
It doesnt expand for me but it's quite clear and normal as far as I can tell. Lovely pictures and an great place to isolate. Xx YBB

I managed to open the collage without any problems. There is a symbol on the top right hand side which indicates how to expand the picture. 👍

Thanks so much. The previous owners weren’t gardeners & there was nothing but a bank covered with nettles & briars, and weed covered grass...oh & a small elderly patio. It’s taken us six years to get it this far, but I’m happy we are getting somewhere now...ish! It’s a Labour if love but harder now I have PMR (only diagnosed December & also have fibromyalgia!) S x
It looks like an excellent place to sit and take in the seasons. 🌻

They will be noisy!
The crows may not make it! It’s very open to the sky & the buzzards have arrived. Also, we witnessed a mid air fight between Mr Crow and a red kite yesterday! Mrs Crow is sitting on eggs still. But great tits in box on side of shed, blue tits in box in front garden & wrens underneath the motorhome...oh & blackbirds in the hedge...2 in back garden & two in front hedge. Luckily the starlings are far away in bottom neighbours guttering! It’s noisy from the bird song already, but a lovely sound! S x

Love the New Forest - remember the good old days when you could picnic where you wanted (my young days and also my children’s) - long gone now though.
My uncle and family used to live in Nomansland - as a kid I thought that was a fantastic name!
We do! Live right by Nomansland! You can still find peace and tranquillity in this quieter northern section. We walk for hours and meet nobody! But not right now, of course. It was our dream to retire here, and we made it. S x

Errrr...no. imagine Don valley but up the hill.
I got a cheap and cheerful pagoda thing last year and tried a new lawn mower and strimmer thing; sitting under the pagoda to rest ever couple of mins. The grass was so tall. Then I flared, the wind blew the pagoda down onto the chair and my mower etc. My back and legs went. I couldn't get down the garden and the brand new mower is still sitting down there. After all this rubbish finishes it will be a skip.

That’s sad. My worst problem is the dreadful sweats once I start gardening...I get totally soaked and it literally drips off me! Like a Wimbledon finalist in the last set! Then I get the bad pain between the shoulder blades. But worth it, and David helps so much in the garden now and is there for the heavier stuff, too. We gave our old mower away yesterday...advertised it in local Facebook page & a lady in the village came & gave it a good home as hers had just died! We bought a cordless one & it’s halved the time it takes...realised we spent more time & effort moving the electric lead around than actually cutting the grass! It’s a doddle now! I bought a slightly more robust one to put in once I rise from my current lockdown.
And yes...the gardening sweats are awful. I took to wearing a cool gel neck scarf thing which really helps.
Water pistol fight...we could safely have one with our neighbours over the hedge, great idea! S x
What a beautiful garden! We are still waiting for the flowers to appear but they are peaking through the earth which gives us hope.
