Thanks SJ we will all need more supports of this kind - to allow us to 'feel' the enormity and be compassionate without somehow being overwhelmed. I just watched this short video and although I am a 'pacifist' and dislike all kinds of militaria and 'war machinery' - this is a wonderful, creative and quite beautiful use of these planes in Italy and a very moving expression of 'love' and support for the Italian people - and 'all' of us really.
I have been thinking a lot about the writing, art and creative works which will eventually emanate from this very challenging time. While necessity of course means our governments and health officials must focus with us on what needs to be done now - it will be 'later' that I'm sure we'll see some incredible and very moving expressions of what and how people did - during this time to get through things ....
So Hope it is OK to post this link here :

That made me cry. π
Me too - to my surprise!
People are at last joining together to make a better world, as they did in/after the war, helping, looking after vulnerable people, etc etc.
Down to the gloom and selfish era.

I blubbered too SJ- I think it just 'hit' me in terms of the huge tragedy this really is - so many people already 'lost' and doctors in some countries having to choose who to ventilate based on 'age'. I don't mean to upset anybody unduly and others may prefer to look only for 'bright sides' but I think we also need to be very 'real' as that will guide and promote our 'best' behaviours which in turn will hopefully support others' health. Life is looking increasingly 'precious' to me. XX
The flight bit was done during the Jesolo airshow in September 2019 - when you watch the clip on YouTube there is another widescreen version as the next to play.
They are everybit as good as the Red Arrows - you should see the stuff they do over Lake Garda!
