Blimey. You really must be a Viking. I was 'down and out for months' after my shoulder replacement - you may remember my 'I am broken' post at the time. I therefore marvel at your tenacity. You are one remarkable lady! Though remember even the most remarkable ladies may need help sometimes, so make sure you have support package. It is amazing how much the simplest of tasks require two hands! Wishing you a speedy recovery. If you get offered hydrotherapy it is wonderful! X

Keep taking the painkillers! I am hoping this op hasn’t been too bad. I don’t really know how shoulder replacements go. I’m guessing they’re not as easy as hips? Keep us up to date on your progress and I hope it goes smoothly.

That got me cogs boggled in the noggin. I am now thinking of stuff you can do. Once I had a bi-lateral carpel tunnel op (both hands same time). I did amaze myself at what I could actually do to keep my dignity.

If I think back that was Parker’s initiation into looking after a loony. No sane person has this op on both hands at the same time but I dint want 12 weeks off work to recover so I did it in 6.
