Still on 35 mg, but slept lastnight from 1:00 to 6:30, nice.

going to change my diet, no fryed foods or red meat. Going to have more plant foods, beans, leaf vegetables, Plan Greek yogurt, fruits, nuts. Chicken would be OK.

Go to google under gut food recipes, they have lots of good recipes.

Question, I love olives and pickles, do you think its ok to have with my plant foods?

Great news on the 5.5 hours sleep.

Just watch the salt if you are susceptible to fluid retention on steroids. Check sugar in pickles too.

Yes, watch for sugar in pickles - olives can be salty but are definitely plant-based!

Try a vegan or homemade sourkraut or Kimchi. That way you can control the sugar and salt content.

Yes , just do the checks as others have said.

You can make your own pickled veggies of all types , or sauerkraut and kimchi , you can even make overnight pickles and choose to reduce the salt and sugar in the recipe.

Fermented foods and pickles just like Probiotic Yoghurt do a great job at protecting your gut health when on steroids too.

You can get great recipes from Pinterest for all sorts of diets from lots of different websites.

Nice to hear some good news to start the weekend , thanks for posting

I am glad you had a good day! You slept those precious hours too - it really helps. If a bit of pickle and the odd olive keeps you on your sensible diet - go for it. I would.

I eat dill pickles regularly...only issue is they are salty. Olives too. But low in calories and both plant based, so go for it.

Not sure I'd class olives as low calorie but they are low carb!!

But you wouldn't eat very many at a time.

Um - depends!!!!!

I looked it up, ten olives have less than 60 calories. I'm fond of olives and would never eat even that many at a time, perhaps six or eight in my salad.

Some of the olives we get here are more than 6 calories a time!!!!!!

Then they are bigger and you eat fewer. :D

Pickled onions with a good crunchy cheddar, heaven. Also its low carb so a "plough womans" lunch can be made with salad, pickles, grapes and some big romaine or cos lettuce leaves to act as the bread. Yummy!

Natural still doesn't always mean good! Deadly nightshade is natural ;)
