I’m very fortunate that a lovely lady has set up a PMR GCA support group in our little town . I went along to my first meeting yesterday and , as a newbie , found it so helpful.

It really brought home to me how different peoples’ experiences are and how dignified people are in coping with these health conditions .

If you are as fortunate as I am to have a local group ,do go along. The face to face experience is invaluable.

Thank you to all the kind souls who run these groups and also to those providing help and support on this forum

Good, that's what they are there for - to remind you that others are in the same situation - and no matter whether you are a long-timer or a newbie you all have something to contribute.
