Security warning about spam

This has just been posted on another forum I belong to:

"Hi everyone, hope all is well as it can be. I am posting about an unethical new follower here, as I received this one today in my in-box on Health Unlocked. This is a absurd and explicit content alert about buying controlled substances here on Health Unlocked. Profile follower even was in my notifications drop down. I did report this to the Administration. The new followers user name is BuyXanaxOnline, and they have a profile."

I'm just flagging it up - if you receive anything like this, PLEASE report it as either Spam or Trolling to HealthUnlocked. On the open forum there is a box at the bottom right of every post or comment saying More. When you click on that it brings up a menu which includes Report, click on that and you can choose a reason for reporting it. Reporting as Spam or Trolling means it will be looked at by HU admin more quickly than other reasons, often also at the weekend, and they can be removed from the site entirely.

There is also a similar box in every balloon on your chat so you can report unwanted contacts. HU cannot look at anything in a private message UNLESS you report it so this is important when it comes to inappropriate messages from people seeking to set up a contact with you. You can block contact from such persons in your private messages if you want to but please always report them first.

If you report something on the open forum a message is sent to the Moderators and Administration personnel - as soon as we see it we will also report to HU but we are able to restrict the actions of the poster on our forum without having to wait for HU to act which may take time, especially at the weekend. One or other of us is around probably 18 hours a day, sometimes more. We can't ban someone, we can restrict them.
