Some of you have received an email purporting to be from HU regarding a survey. At the moment we are checking if this is genuine and in the meantime please dont respond if you receive such an email. I will update the forum when we have confirmed whether this is a real survey. YBB
HU survey: Some of you have received an email... - PMRGCAuk
HU survey
Did you have or see a Copy of the Email?
No sj doesnt.know how to send it but candy is checking if its come from HU direct as pmrgcauk know nothing about it!!
I’ve sent my email to Support for them to look at just in case it’s not from them.
It looked authentic BUT it was offering 100$ Amazon Voucher which made me sceptical....
I suspect its dodgy as candy didnt know about it but if people avoid responding and let me know if they receive anything hopefully we can sort it out.YBB
~I got one of those - it looked authentic and was regarding anyone with chronic sinus problems - I just deleted it without thinking as thought it was a different branch of expertise wanting feedback on the issue.........
I must be extra vigilant next time ~
It’s the same one, l’ve sent mine to HU for them to look at. It certainly looks OK it was just the 100$ that made me wary, as this is a UK Site?.......
If in doubt, don’t reply, let HU Support know & write a Post on the Forum.
Kind Regards
MrsN
~Yes absolutely will do - I've fallen for these traps hook line & sinker in past especially when they are presented well.
Usually if in doubt I hit the delete button or junk mail.
With recent change to Windows 10 I'm hoping I'm now considerably safer
On my phone there’s a little > by the senders ‘Name’ & if l press that it shows the source of the sent email address, that is usually helpful.
~Thank you for that great tip - I always use my desktop PC as opposed to my phone.
Also after I posted message to you less than 30 mins ago guess what arrived in the inbox? Another spam from a regular spammer - I need to get onto my internet provider& chew an ear - its sitting on the phone for ages that puts me off - public hol in NZ today ~
I would think that any survey supported by the site would appear as a post.
In any case, no one should ever provide personal information in response to an email or a phone call, regardless of who the solicitor is, unless you have initiated the correspondence.
They come in various forms , I've had pop ups while visiting the site and I got another email version this week , but it was actually related to one of my conditions , had no money incentive and was done through a proper survey engine I recognise.
The money and the non relevant question arose my suspicions but in its firm it looked totally legitimate with HU address and details and everything you usually see.
If these things come up and are genuine , they never usually request any personal details that identify you , like name , age or address etc.
If they do start down that route or look like they come from a consumer group that's when I switch off and delete.

HealthUnlocked <notifications@email.healthunlocked.com> This is the email address that sent me the request to call regarding chronic sinusitus for $100 Amazon e-card. I haven't been at my computer too much....so I know I'm a bit late with this but thought it might help. If you want me to forward this to support, just let me know how. Thanks.
