Silnadafil
Hello there. I don’t think anyone can safely comment without much more detail on why you’re on steroids, for how long and why you have to come off them. Have you sought advice from your doctor?
Side effects of what?
If you look at the patients information leaflet in any medicine box it gives you list of all POSSIBLE side effects. Or speak to doctor or pharmacist
This is a forum for pmr/gca and you havnt made it clear whether you have either. Can you please fill in your profile details so we can give specific advice as with the details you have given we are unable to advise you. YBB
I was diagnosed with PMR in July I have start 15 mg prendisole I am now down to 9 I just wondered If anyone use silnadafil (viagra) while taking prendisolone share they experience .
I think this is an extremely valid question for men who have PMR/ GCA. If you find an answer you should post it even if there us just one worried person out there. Last year we had a very active thread about vaginal dryness for the ladies.
There was this thread from a few months ago and I have a feeling there was another thread too but can't see it.
In case you don't see the reply above from Scoopitup to Hellyowl I am posting to bring it to your attention.
The reply to JakeSearcher in this thread

answers your question quite clearly I think. Unfortunately, unless you are in the UK you won't be able to see the bnf.nice link given but the information given around it should be enough for you certainly to think twice about using it and to discuss its use in detail with your medical advisors.
The drug you mention is SILDENAFIL. I realise the names of drugs are often long and confusing but it is very important to get the spelling correct as some medicines have very similar names. Brand names in different countries are not always the same.
As a courtesy to you I have looked in my BNF and there is no interaction listed between Sildenafil and Corticosteroids. There are however interactions with many other classes of medicine so you should talk to the prescriber, and please do not buy "Viagra" from on-line shops. There have been reported incidents of people taking Viagra from these sources and they have become very unwell.
