Sleep Out

Just want to say I did it - I slept rough for the homeless (and raised £500+ for Glass Door). No pmr problems despite the hard floor. If only my neighbor did not snore for two hours....

Well done - and you at least can enjoy the luxury of your own bed to catch up!

Thanks. Lively atmosphere. Ran into some old friends. Only bad thing was the noise (people chatting til 1am). I need better ear plugs next time.

Brilliant effort, congratulations...

Bet you enjoyed your own bed😊

Good to hear you weren't stiff👍

Shame about your noisy neighbour🙄.

Better earplugs next time. I was cozy and it was not cold. Left at 5am and went to bed.

You are a real credit to the human race. Unfortunately we don’t witness such things these days.

I was not alone. There were 360 people.

Absolutely amazing , you really are a star XXX

Bet you were the only one their on the night who could actually get close to really feeling how a Homeless person feels as many of them don't necessarily have PMR but are often on the streets because of Chronic Illnesses both physical as well as Mental.

If you think about how you prepared yourself beforehand , and how tired or achy you were afterwards and took a rest after one night you will really be able to empathize with them having to feel like that every day , with no chance of help or relaxation.

Makes one more grateful for home and bed. I slept a night on an airport floor alone and got a taste of being vulnerable.
