Protection against Lower Leg Bruising

I've noticed a few posts about easy leg bruising from Pred use and how to protect them from knocks? Just an idea, but when cross-country running last winter, I sometimes wore runners calf supports to protect from bashes on rocks, branches etc.rather than support my calf muscles. This seemed to work, so may be a solution for any sufferers who don't mind looking sporty? (May look a little odd with high heels though? :-) They are available in lots of sizes, colors and styles too !

I am shedding or shredding easily too....I had one tear that was oozing clear liquid and when I went to urgent care the doctor created two more tears removing my support hose. Now I am in what the call an Unna boot for a week. I can remember when my legs really swelled. The swelling I have now is hardly noticeable to me but is really pitted. Oh, well, my head doesn't ache anymore and feel rather normal~!

Why thank you! Those are really neat. I'm going to check Amazon and see if I can get some, if not I will order from that site. Sweet!💗💗I'll see if I can get the link to show you what I wear on my legs...and they are totally light. I wear them under my jeans, I haven't worn a dress or skirt in years due to some other surgeries that meant I can only wear Skechers. Actually, now I'm kind of liking it....jeans, sweaters, and Skechers. Thanks.

It's always best to order from the company not Amazon, unless Amazon is the only way. I think this company uses eBay to sell internationally, but as far as I know it's a UK company.

Thanks, I will check eBay out, they didn't have them on Amazon.😉

I'll check it out right now! I did...and there is! They have so many comfortable items...they just look 'cozy'.

Prevention is always preferable to needing a cure!

You can get them in lots of different colours , even skin tones.

You just have to be sure that if you choose that sort of compression support that it fits in with your other health issues.

I have to use them to help with my circulation and they do reduce my neuropathy in the calf when exercising , but I know some conditions mean you can't use them.

Thanks for the tip
