I've just tried to update my profile as requested and, though I've completed everything asked, it still tells me my profile is only 90% complete. Can't work out why or see place for further entries. Is this just me being dim?

Updating profile
Hi,
I seem to remember I had the same problem when I updated my profile some two years ago. I don't think it's you at all, but something to do with the system. Anyway, I decided if it was 90% full, then that would have to do!
Paddy
PS: Maybe someone will come back and tell me I'm wrong!
No Maria, mines the same 90% l think for me it’s something to do with my post code because l’ve moved house since l created my profile.
But l’ve just looked at yours & you haven’t added a photo in the Avatar (your profile picture) it doesn’t have to be of you & there’s a space to have your Banner Photo too, so that may make you 100%
Kind Regards
MrsN
I will have a look and see if I can tell what's missing but dont worry 90% is great. YBB
Mine says 90% I think - the only thing I haven't put something in is "illnesses interested in" or whatever it is! And someone suggested it may be not having a "real" picture as an avatar - well, tough!!!!!
Mine changed from 90% to 100% when I added a banner photo....
Well Done! 💯
And, a Fabulous Banner it is too!
Thank you. It’s in the Dolomites.
Where - not a view I recognise ...
Will have to get back to you on that! I can’t remember the name of the mountain and I am on a train just now. I was staying in Villabassa at the time though so it wouldn’t have been too far from there. I picked it as I like being up mountains and it was a nice panoramic photo so it fitted in the banner space!
Niederdorf in Pustertal you mean? It's about 25km from me
Yes that’s it. I loved it. Lucky you!
The scenery was fab but so was all the historical stuff. I hadn’t realised it had played such a big part in both the First and Second World Wars before I went. Hearing about the trench warfare on top of Monte Piana (? - I think that was the name) was quite humbling.
I have a banner photo.
Where is it heron? Are they bicycles lined up?
It's a picture of Paddington in Paddington station.
I thought it was a Canadian bear 😂😂😂 I haven't been to Paddington station. My trains terminate in at st pancras and I have been to kings cross too.
I believe it was 2014. There were Paddingtons all over the place as an anniversary thing, and I happened to be staying in a small hotel in the area so I took pics of the Paddingtons I came across - including this one who is actually in the station. A week in the UK was my retirement gift to myself. I worked my last shift on the Monday and took off for the UK for a week the following day. I think I had PMR by then, but didn't know it yet and I did very well while away but kind of fell apart when I got home. Wasn't diagnosed until the following June.
I am glad you got to enjoy your visit before PMR overtook you. I like the bronze Paddington and the photograph at at Paul's is nice. It's years since I have visited London. I did live in a campervan down by Victoria just a walk from Westminster. I found a beheaded parking metering a back street, and worked a couple of cleaning jobs down there in the early 90s. I had done conferences in the fringes but I don't think I could cope there now.
I didn't expect to do well, thought I'd be a mess after my first day which I spent walking around London, visiting British Museum etc, with all my heavy valuables and a water bottle in a backpack. But I was fine, I think because I had left all my stresses behind, only to be completely flattened by them upon my return.
It does show you the power of stress. Also giving up work is a big thing too. I used to collapse almost at the end of each teaching year like a ragdoll!
Same with me, and mine used to be 100%. I can no longer enter my postal code so I figure that's all. But it does make it impossible for me to be situated accurately on that page where they find people who live near you.
I think you & me both are Post Code Girls!
I think the system is a bit buggy. It took a couple of years before it would agree to accept my version of my birthdate. It always wanted to make me a day older. Now it says my postal code is invalid for my country. Sigh.
