Hello there, could you give a bit more detail?

Are you back on pred?

Sorry to hear that, but as others have said a bit more info would be nice.

That is an unusual symptom I haven't heard before! Have you any more usual ones?

That is weird but i had exactly the same thing happen a day or so ago. I have had a migraine so expect it was to do with that, but I had that disorienting sensation you get when you've landed after a long flight, or got off a ship after being aboard for a while.

Lifts/elevators have done that to me for years. Noticed first after long haul flight to USA in '94. Had it ever since.

I had that and it was from crystals in the ear. There is an exercise you do for it if you google ear crystals. it will pop up. Not always the case but for me it was! And exercise cleared up balance right away.

My mum had that and physio did the head manoeuvres for her. She had to sleep in a chair 2 nights thereafter. It seemed to work but physio did say sometimes you have to have repeat treatments.

Hmmm, as it only lasted a few minutes I don't think it was more than a symptom of the impending rather longlasting migraine.... Still, something to keep in mind for future reference if ever needed. Maybe, Hunter134 , you could use this info?

Vertigo, perhaps. One of the after effects of coming off Prednisone after four and a half years. (From a list of what to expect after long term use that was posted here one time.) The first year, it became almost chronic, but has settled a lot in the past few months.

Hunter134 I would suggest seeing gp as this can be a symptom of some ear or neurological conditions.
