Salisbury pmrgcauk group will be meeting next Tuesday (17th April) between 11am & 1pm in the Edinburgh Wool Mill resturant at Wilton Shopping Village. All welcome.

We are a small friendly group with a mix of GCA & PMR sufferers and wide range of ages, M & F.

Hi,

Sorry shan’t be able to make meeting.

Dishwasher repairman coming - can’t give a time until 9.30on the day, so need to be available all day! Crazy in this day and age. Can’t put him off, ongoing saga for about a month...and fed up of washing up!

Please give my regards to all.

If I'd had to wait a month I'd have bought a new dishwasher by now!!!!

I’ve been tempted...but it’s under insurance so FOC.

Problem - smelled of burning, initial appointment was delayed by a week because repairman went off sick! When he finally came couldn’t find anything wrong!!

But decided that, as under insurance, it might be worth replacing the control boards - 3 in total. That’s were the problems started, machine is a Smeg, built in Germany, but control boards manufactured in Italy!

Bear with me!

I know this because when I bought it, the first one delivered had an iffy control board, and machine was replaced - July 2008!

Throw Easter in between and another repairman having to take emergency leave (should have come tomorrow) - now coming next Tuesday!

I think I’ve been very patient, and totally un-Aries....... but it has worked brilliantly for 10 years so I guess I’ll give it another chance!

Fair enough I suppose. Don't think they make them like they used to - hope that doesn't apply to the control boards!!!

Wish I could come, but I instruct a Tai Chi class every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 12. I’m sure it does me good, but it would be lovely to meet the people on this forum!
