Grass cutting

What a chore, but no more for me😃Bought myself a robomow and it’s the best thing I’ve bought in years. No more carrying the lawnmower too and fro from the shed. No grass cuttings to deal with, the robomow cuts 3 times a week so all clippings feed the lawn. The lawn has never looked as good and I get great pleasure watching him work.

Even though we don’t have the biggest of lawns I used to find it quite tiring, so that’s one chore taken care of now how to I get the bins to take themselves out?

My two year old grandson loves to ride the mower with Dad. He wants to mow every day!

Don't have a lawn to mow - but I love my Robovacuumcleaner ...

Robovac and grass cutters are on my list.

Know it was a joke but .....my council do provide a service where they collect your bin from the garden and return it. I think I did it online. Been a godsend for me since the neighbour, who kindly did mine, moved. My new neighbours would do it, but I booked the service before they moved in just in case.

Me to - Robbo is definitely the best present I have given myself in a long time! I caravan a lot and have been so disappointed by the people who have promised to cut the grass for me when I am away - now I know I will come home (if I get away again) to a lovely patch of grass! I love watching it do the work! It's been quite comical watching dogs with it. My biggest dog has her place on the grass but Robbo seems to want to be there more than anywhere else. I thought the terrier might chase it as she chased me on the ride on - and the Vacuum cleaner - but it seems it was me she chased not the machine! Visiting dogs are intrigued!

We also caravan a fair bit and like you say it’s such a disappointment when you come home and promised have not been fulfilled.

Just re-read your post - mine cuts every day and recharges on the solar panels or not - even when its raining. I expect I can programme it to cut less if I want to - if I learn how! My grass is looking amazing - it was part of a field once upon a time but looking good now. It's quite comical when it goes in a shallow hole the dogs have dug - but so far it has always got out!

Good for you Griggser! So you can just sit & supervise! 🍺

I didn’t know such things existed. But it might well solve a problem. Thanks.

Greetings Griggser

In case your robomower ever breaks or goes AWOL (e.g. escapes to a neighbour's place): I water my lawn with 7 parts water to 3 parts Scotch Whiskey. Works every time - it always grows half-cut.. ;-) :-D
