Scam email?

Had email yesterday - this person wants to connect with me outside Healthunlocked! Could not tell if male or female from name. How has this happened?

At a guess your email account may have been hacked - or potentially even the HU site. I have reported it to the Help Centre - but no-one should respond to such private approaches. I happily take private contacts within HU or other forums but I only give out my email address when I am confident who is at the other end.

Help Centre have told me they were aware and have removed them from the site. So hopefully no more!

Was it an email or a Private Message via the forum? If it was a PM, then they don't have your email address.

Hope it has been dealt with now.
