I wish you well, keep us posted....

Good luck with your examination result. I have something similar ongoing for quite a while. I do wonder if Diabetes medication maybe the cause as each time I get my repeat prescription it is a different Manufacturer, I,e Blue box, Brown box Red box. I have it on my list to ask my Doctor at my next review, 3rd December. Keep us informed. D

It shouldn't be a problem - it will be a light GA I imagine and they aren't doing anything invasive, it is just very uncomfortable if you are conscious. Make sure you tell them you are on pred, how long and what dose. Your throat may feel uncomfortable afterwards and you will need someone to take you home.

I had a hoarse voice with PMR - probably an overlap with large vessel vasculitis. Do hope they find nothing unpleasant.

Try not to worry, I'm sure it will be alright, it's normal to get anxious. Let us know how you get on. Best wishes.

Good luck Katrinaroper. PMRPro has said it all. I also practically lose my voice at times. I thought it was Pred but it could be PMR. My singing voice has gone ( I only knew when I tried to sing to my grandson).
