Always. Always willing to help ! Some people don’t have insurance or money Predsone is predsone !!! It’s my life line. So if someone need some to get by and cannot afford I will help .

Okay, but as this is a predominately UK forum you might not realise but it doesn’t work like that over here.

Most of us, because of age aren’t charged for our tablets - they are free under the NHS. If we do pay, the cost is subsidised.

The prescription from our doctor is meant for us alone - it’s a definite no-no to share medication.

My understanding is the pred is cheap to manufacture. Here in Canada I get 300 one mg tablets and actual cost is about $30. (I only pay $11.99 for dispensing fee for each prescription given my benefits). Even without insurance it doesn't seem cost prohibitive. Have to agree with Dorset Lady, individual prescription medication should not be shared. Because prednisone is the only recognized medication for PMR/GCA its hard to believe that persons without insurance would be denied treatment.
