Wonderful Monkeymate. We are lucky in the U.K., still!
Yes we are !! Although for a long while I didn’t think so . Now did to ask have you or any one in the forum after the procedure experience visual disturbance or tingling down the face , ??? As this is what I’m having ,whether it’s due to the procedure? Or ??? Please your thoughts .
Hi Monkeymate, I did get more head pain after the biopsy and what I suppose was a sort of tingling pain on the side they took the specimen. A few days later I had a droopy eyelid and it felt a bit numb.
Morning primrose thanks for that fits my symptoms, so that’ll stop me worrying 😁.... as if lol
Primrose? How are you now ? An when we’re you diagnosed?? If you don’t mind me asking 😀
I feel quite normal now thank you Monkeymate. I was diagnosed with GCA in early Jan 2017, the biopsy was positive although the eye surgeon made a bit of a mess of it.
Great that diagnosis getting underway for you Monkeymate. ATB
Ye it is , I’ll be able to say ..na na told you I was ill lol
Nerves are bound to be bashed about a bit and they often tingle when damaged.
I hope that everything will work out well for you Monkeymate, please keep posting to let us know how you are x
