I have gotten to 10 mgs. At my last crp last month I was 14. My doctor has looked at my record and 13-14 seems to be my normal. But my last CRP is 24 last Friday.
Ok my symptoms are doable I took 12.5 mgs on Monday due to my left leg from hip to ankle was immobilizing me. It worked and the next day I went back to the 10 mgs.
I have no GCA symptoms at present Ihave a slight nummy sensation over my right temporal area. Otherwise all is ok. My ankles hurt when I walk guess I shouldn’t walk. Ok getting goofy ...
Now I have a gallbladder full of stone and an abdominal hernia so we figure that is why I stay at 14. We my doc and me go by symptoms and like I said they are doable.
Ok my rant is over. Still weary about all of this.
The fires are still north of us. There are a lot of us who think they are using DEW weapons to start fires. The goal is to burn everyone out of single family homes. If you look at the actual footage you will see how the laser slices right through a home and it burnt to the ground on one side but not the other. And not to mention that trees like eucalyptis sorry spelt wrong anyway less than 15 feet from a house that burnt to the ground but not one of those explosive trees burnt. I know a lot more but most people will say it isn’t true we wouldn’t do that to our own people here in USA. Well the prophesies are unfolding and this is just the beginning of the terrors we will see. It is happening world wide and for those who want to know email me and I will be glad to tell you.
I am going to my sons tomorrow to clean out my trunk n put in the supplies I would need if I have to bug out. I have a backpack by my front door with my 5days of water n food plus meds. Not sure what I can do but if makes me feel secure having my tent and the most important portable potty. I am set to go camping. If they don’t burn down the forests.

Thanks I will. Yeah I think it is stressful. Now PGE our power providers say if we get high winds again they will turn off electric so it won’t catch fire. So now we can all freak out in the dark. Life is changing and it is scary but I have the Lord keeping my back. They can kill the body but not the soul.
It is nice to see your face. It has been pretty relentless for you hasn’t it ?Gall Bladder pain is terrible and then there is your abdominal hernia. Everything impacts on our CRP levels.
My ankles bother me on stairs. I wonder if different shoes would help at all? I tend to be bare foot around the home. I hope these problems can be solved soon All the best.
They may be doable - but the rise in CRP is suggesting there is inflammation that isn't being managed. At the very least you need the CRP done again in a week or so to see if it is still rising - because if it is you MUST consider this is too low a dose for now.
I went back to 12.5 yesterday and today. I am going down to visit my son and family and needed to be able to walk and not limp. I am still awaiting my doctors call but he is getting close to retiring and takes Thursday and Friday off so I will have to manage this alone until Monday. Like I said before I usually go by symptoms than labs but this spike is the highest in years. Thanks for your help I do appreciate you.
Sorry you are going through all this on top of the fires! I’m in the foothills near Placerville and we’ve been getting a lot of smoke. Where are you?
I’ve got PMR/GCA, diagnosed January this year, currently on 20 mg pred. I’ve had a terrible time with finding a good rheumy, currently on a second one and looking for another one. Do you have a good one? What has been your experience and can you recommend anyone.
